Howdy everyone!
Five years ago this week, I drove across Texas in my lil Toyota to photograph any contractor that said yes, which wasn't many. But I didn't care... I was free to tell the stories of the world I loved, the Dirt World. Young and dumb is an understatement.
Some things have changed... We have fantastic marketing and media teams telling stories across the states and worldwide, and now 200 customers on our ten-month-old training platform.
And some things haven't... I'm still young and dumb. Less young and dumb, but still young and dumb nonetheless.
As many of you know, I travel quite a bit. This year, I've visited Australia, Alberta, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Colorado, California, and Hawaii. No matter where I go, EVERYONE has a workforce challenge.
Most want to do something about it, yet continue down the comfortable and proven path. If I were in their shoes, I'd do the same.
But this group's different... You're all doing SOMETHING about it because you're here. You're investing in your people, hoping they can improve their skill sets and lives.
BuildWitt Training isn't the magic bullet; it's merely a tool. But it's SOMETHING.
Our progress in such a short time (nearly 100,000 completed lessons to date, for example) is entirely thanks to our team of brilliant folks and YOU. Thank you for trusting us enough to try out an unproven product and join us in our mission of making the Dirt World a better place.
BuildWitt Training didn't exist this time last year, and it will be unrecognizable in the best of ways at this time next year. We're just getting started!!
